Meet the Crew:

Marty Canavan

Laser programmer.  Marty learned the laser business by working with numerous laser companies, and then touring with Ronnie James Dio, Motley Crue, and a Rap tour that included LL Cool J, and Iced T.    Marty's musical ability was highlighted when he programmed laser effects for VH1 Rock Honors a tribute to "The Who".  Marty is also the laser programmer for such television shows as Dancing with the Stars, American Idol, The Voice and XFactor.  

Steve Campbell

Steve is head of technical and works with our television clients.   He learned the laser business by touring with such acts as Poison, Vanilla Ice, and Warrant.  Steve designed our YAG laser projector to make the equipment compact and self reliant.  Steve also schedules the equipment and techs for shows.

Mike Gilbert

Mike has complete knowledge of YAG Laser systems and is currently doing maintanence on our laser systems, including KVANT full color laser systems.    He recently was on tour with Aerosmith as Laser operator where we provided 1 YAG Laser and 1 white light Spectra Physics laser.

Blake Putnam

Blake, currently studying engineering at Cal State Long Beach, works with the technical crew on laser maintenance and laser shows.

Robert Hassler

Robb works with Mike on laser maintanence and laser shows.

Our Business

We are here to supply your event with state-of-the-art laser systems and laser crew.    We provide laser effects for  television, commercials, movies, corporate events, sports events, theme parks and casino's.

Kristin Berry

Kristin has joined YLS as Office Manager and Show Scheduling.  She is also part of our Show Production team.

 Martin Canavan

 In 1985 Martin saw the potential to incorporate laser effects and show production.  It was his vision that created YLS Lasers.

Luann Canavan 

Luann is a musician, songwriter, music and video editor.  She has written music for corporate and casino clients and currently supplies the music editing for YLS laser shows and laser openings.

 Scott Cunningham

Scott is now located in Ohio and currently has teamed up with YLS for Corporate and Touring.  He has recently toured with Earth, Wind and Fire.  Some of his clients also include Ernst & Young and the Rock and Roll Marathon.
